Nursery Activities & Extras

Holyrood Nursery Bury offers a wide range of exceptional nursery activities and opportunities and encourages children to participate in these free experiences to help them build their confidence and develop their skills. By offering these, we hope to ensure our children are well prepared for any challenges they encounter.

All-Inclusive Childcare

We make things that little bit easier for families by offering an All Inclusive Package – all nappies, wipes, meals and activities are included in our fees with no additional fees.

ZooLab helps excite the child’s curiosity and covers many subject areas within the national curriculum. ZooLab is a great vehicle too for delivering interdisciplinary learning.

Early Years Teacher (EYTS)

We are very lucky to have our own early years teacher who will work closely with your child and their key worker to ensure that your child is being supported in their development, in preparation for heading off to school. Our EYTS is also our nursery deputy and is always available if you would like to discuss anything regarding your child’s development.

Bilingual Staff

We are lucky to have bi-lingual staff who are able to support children in their first language, or in exploring new languages. This not only helps children settle well into nursery, but also provides opportunity to better understand and celebrate children’s cultures and heritage. Here at Holyrood Bury we have staff that are fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, Mirpuri and Bengali.

Halal Food

Our chefs cater to various cultural dietary requirements, and are happy to accommodate your needs.

Community Outings

Our nursery enjoys great ties with our local community and we are often out and about visiting local sights and getting involved in events.

Christmas Show

We celebrate Christmas by putting on a wonderful Christmas show for friends and family each year. There’s always much excitement in preparing for the show as we learn songs and organise our special dress ups.

Laughs with Pudsey.

Fundraising Activities

Taking part in fundraising activities helps children to learn about others that are less fortunate than themselves and understand how we can help them. Fundraising events are good fun and are a great way to get children, families and communities together. We are currently fundraising for Manchester Children’s Hospital.
